The national park has a large area, stretching 80 km through 3 provinces: Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen. The park has a total area of nearly 33,000 hectares, mainly natural primary forest. Joining the tour “Discovering the National Park with me”, students learn general information about the National Park; management and protection of Tam Dao National Park; learn about the biological habits and identification characteristics of rare animals in the Vietnam and world Red Books, especially some precious medicinal herbs that are beneficial to health.
Children also practice skills such as hanging hammocks, taking down tents, finding shelter and escaping in the forest. Through activities, children understand the role and value of forests in human life, practice life skills, survival skills in the forest, and enhance their own responsibility in protecting forests and biodiversity.

Currently, Tam Dao National Park has introduced to tourists typical souvenir products such as butterfly and insect specimens; dried flower and leaf paintings; Mascot Baby Azalea (mascot designed specifically for Tam Dao National Park); badges, keychains, etc. The products are well received and have positive feedback from tourists, showing positive signs in the development of ecotourism in Tam Dao National Park.
