After the success of 4 seasons of organizing the Creative Design Festival, the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center was officially established to implement the city’s commitments and initiatives when joining the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

The center is located in the Hanoi Museum (Nam Tu Liem), including outdoor and indoor exhibition spaces, providing space to effectively introduce, promote and connect initiatives for Hanoi’s development with State management agencies, and organizing many activities related to creative design initiatives and products.

The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center has the following functions: coordinating and promoting creative activities; attracting and connecting local and international creative resources; introducing, sharing and supporting the pilot implementation of ideas in the creative field. Organizing activities and events as a permanent location of the Hanoi Creative Design Center in the initial stage, initially forming a center for nurturing talents in the fields of creative design.

With a strategic role in shaping Hanoi’s creative ecosystem, the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center will make an important contribution to the development of the country’s knowledge-based economic culture, making Vietnam a bright spot in the region in terms of creativity and innovation, and enhancing Vietnam’s position on the global creative map.

The Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center was launched after the successful conclusion of the Creative Design Festival. The Festival attracted the participation of nearly 500 units; 1,000 creators including artists, architects, and curators. With about 110 diverse activities in many locations, the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 attracted more than 30,000 visitors. The Organizing Committee assessed this as the most successful festival ever with the number of public participants exceeding expectations.
